"You're putting too much pressure on yourself," Kevin stated, crossing his arms and looking at Amy.
"Your family is coming to our house for Thanksgiving, Kevin. The pressure is on!" Amy exclaimed.
"It's not a big deal!" Kevin said.
"Thanksgiving isn't a big deal? This is the first holiday where your mother has actually trusted me to make a meal. Your entire family is going to be here in mere hours!"
Kevin looked at her curiously. "So you're saying you're stressed?" he asked.
"Oh my God, you're an idiot," Amy sighed, walking into the kitchen.
"I'm a what? Hey!" Kevin headed into the kitchen and watched as she dug through the freezer frantically. Seeing every pot and pan in the house out in the open, Kevin got even more confused. "I don't see the big deal; it's just a meal."
Amy dropped a pan on the stove loudly and turned to face Kevin.
"Just a meal?" she asked.
"Yes. It's food, sweetie, how-"
"It's Thanksgiving!" Amy yelled.
Kevin stared at her, shocked by her volume.
"It's Thanksgiving," she said quieter, "and I only get one shot to impress your family."
"Impress them? Who cares what they think?" Kevin asked, walking over and sitting at the table.
"I care! Kevin, if I screw this up they'll never come back here for another holiday! Oh my God, they'll make fun of me behind my back forever!" Amy turned back to the stove, dumping ingredients into a pan.
"They will not. At most they'll make fun of the turkey, but that's expected because it's on fire."
"What?" Amy turned to the oven and her jaw dropped.
"Shit! Damnit!" she yelled, opening the oven and grabbing the cooking sheet.
"Amy, stop, you don't have-"
"Ow!"
"Ovenmitts on," Kevin finished, grimacing as she screamed in pain.
"My hand! My turkey! My fucking turkey," Amy sobbed, sliding down to the floor and covering her face in her hands.
"Are you PMSing?" Kevin asked her seriously, getting ovenmitts and picking the turkey up, placing it on the counter.
"Kevin!"
"I'm sorry! I...ew, it fell out of the cooking...thing. It's hairy," Kevin said, poking the turkey.
"Of course it is," Amy whimpered.
"Hey, it's okay," Kevin said, sitting on his knees in front of Amy, "we can get another one."
"It's Thanksgiving, Kevin, they're all gone."
"All of them? They ran out of turkeys?" Kevin asked her.
Amy set her head back on the lower cabinet and looked at Kevin.
"Stores are closed by now. There goes dinner," she said.
"No, just...there goes turkey. You don't need turkey on...Thanksgiving," Kevin said, biting his lip as the words came out of his mouth.
"No? What are we going to do then?"
-
"Chicken. How...original," Kevin's mom said, looking at her plate.
Amy bit her lip and looked at her plate. Everything had turned out perfect except for the main item, and Kevin's mom wouldn't get over it.
"It's really good chicken though," Kevin said brightly, smiling at Amy.
"Mmhm," his mom said, taking a small bite.
Picking at her food, Amy couldn't wait for his family to leave. She had been looking forward to this day for months and now she just wanted it to be over.
"I like it," Kevin said quietly, eating.
The rest of his family had been nice about the turkey mishap, but Amy could tell they were not happy that their Thanksgiving was turkeyless.
Everyone seemed to rush through dinner, then wolf down dessert.
"Well, it's getting late," Kevin's mom said after only two hours of being there.
Glancing outside, Amy frowned when she saw that the sun had barely set. She had disappointed his family just like she had predicted.
"Oh, you're leaving?" Kevin asked, watching his family get up from the table.
"Yes, dear, we promised your uncle that we'd stop by," his mom said, forcing a smile.
Kevin watched as his family gathered their coats, then huddled by the door. Frowning, he watched them barely bid farewell to Amy, all remarks about dinner sounding forced.
"Bye, Mom," Kevin said once his mom hugged him.
Waving to his family from the porch, Kevin heard the screendoor shut as Amy went back inside.
Sighing, he walked inside and kicked his shoes off before going into the kitchen. Spotting Amy clearing the table, he suddenly understood why she was so freaked about dinner.
"You want them to think you're good enough for me," Kevin said quietly, leaning against the doorframe.
"What?" Amy asked, half listening as she got out tupperware for leftovers.
"That was the big thing, right? Impress the family so they don't think their son is with a girl that's not good enough for him?" he asked.
Amy sighed and looked at him. She nodded.
"Yes, that was it. But now that I served chicken on Thanksgiving, they hate me. Not only do they hate me, but they think you're a dumbass for being with me."
With that, she set the dishes harshly into the sink and ran the water, leaning against the counter and watching the water spread across the ceramic.
"They don't hate you. My mom is just weird about holidays and having someone else host them, that's all."
"Kevin, did you see the way she looked at me when I set chicken on the table? Like I was white trash or something!" Amy exclaimed, shutting the water off and turning to look at him.
"She looks at everyone that way," Kevin lied, walking over and wrapping his arms around her waist.
"You're such a bad liar," Amy said, pushing him away.
"Why are you mad at me?" Kevin asked in disbelief.
"I'm not mad. I...I don't know. I ruined everyone's Thanksgiving. Even yours."
"I told you I liked the chicken!" Kevin said, staring at her.
"You hate chicken, Kevin," Amy said, giving him a hard look.
"I...liked yours."
Sighing, she turned back to the dishes.
"You know, I don't care about your family as much as I do you. I wanted Thanksgiving to be nice for you. But I ruined it."
"Amy," Kevin said, turning her away from the sink so she was facing him. He cupped her face with his hands and smiled. "I may not like chicken, but you did not ruin anything for me. You tried and honestly that's all I care about. In my mind, you kicked ass. Don't listen to what my mom says or read into her looks; you did a good job."
"Really?" Amy asked hesitantly, setting her hands on his chest.
"Really. Scout's honor. The food was wonderful, and the company was even better," Kevin smiled.
"Your family."
"You," Kevin corrected, kissing her lightly.
"I'm good company, huh?" Amy asked, a smile tugging at her lips.
"Uh-huh," Kevin replied, kissing her neck.
"Kevin," Amy said, her hands on his belt.
His lips let her skin go and he looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
Kevin put a finger over her lips when she tried to talk, and he shook his head.
"Let me make Thanksgiving up to you," he whispered, playfully nipping her bottom lip.
"Um, okay," Amy replied.
Biting her lip, she untucked Kevin button up shirt, undoing the buttons quickly.
"Expert," Kevin teased.
Smiling, she yanked his shirt down his arms and off of him.
"That's better," Kevin smirked.
Holding her hips in his hands tightly, he kissed her hard. His fingers went ahead and unbuttoned her pants, then slid under her shirt and teased her skin. Running his hands over her bra, he felt her arch into his touch. Pushing her against the counter with his lower body, he broke the kiss and slowly slid her shirt over her head.
Amy shivered from the coldness in the room, Kevin's hands roaming over her newly exposed skin. His lips not touching hers, she took the opportunity and kissed right behind his ear - a spot she knew drove him crazy. Hearing him let out a low moan, she sucked on the spot for a moment before kissing down his neck.
Kevin's hands slid down her waist and his fingers dug into her hips as her lips ran across his skin. She knew just where to kiss him to make his knees go weak. Feeling her lips on his upper chest, he bit his lip.
Kissing down his chest, Amy felt Kevin's grip on her loosen. Smiling against his skin, she kissed as far down as she could without having to push him away from her. Coming back up to face him, she pressed her lips against his, letting her fingers run down to his pants. Undoing his belt and pants, she felt Kevin step away from her.
Walking backwards slowly, he sat on the kitchen table with a smug grin.
It took her a moment to figure it out, then she just stared at him.
"Are you serious?" she asked, looking around uncomfortably.
"Completely," Kevin replied.
"Kevin, we just ate there," Amy said, walking over to him, missing his touch.
"I know. What better way to get back at tonight than to-"
"Okay, I get it," she said, her hands on his shoulders.
"Trust me," Kevin said, kissing her again, knowing she was uncomfortable about being outside the bedroom.
Letting him deepen the kiss, Amy felt Kevin pull her close, her now standing between his legs. His hands unclasped her bra, then ran down to her already unbuttoned pants.
"Kevin, I don't know," Amy said, breaking the kiss.
"Give me one good reason why," Kevin said before sliding her bra down her arms and letting his lips attack the flesh of her neck.
"It's hard," Amy said, glancing at the table.
Kevin's lips moved up to her ear before whispering, "So am I."
Momentarily stunned, she stood there as Kevin's lips made their way down her chest, nipping her skin as he got closer to her naval.
Swallowing back a moan as his lips teased her skin right above her pants, she found her hands back on his belt. Undoing his zipper, she tugged at his pants, making his lips remove themselves from her skin.
Lifting his hips slightly, Kevin watched as his pants hit the kitchen floor. Smiling, he got off the table and quickly pushed Amy against it. Unzipping her pants, he saved himself a step and pushed her pants and underwear down.
Kicking them off to the side, Amy looked at Kevin.
"Trust me?" Kevin asked, taking her hands and placing them on the waist of his boxers.
Not answering with words, she slid his boxers down, kissing his hipbone on her way back up.
Kevin licked his lips when they were face to face again. Kissing her hard, Kevin pushed her against the table.
Hopping onto the table, she slid back and lied down on it.
Kevin placed his hands on her kness, his fingers lightly touching her skin as they ran up her thighs.
Her heartrate quickening, Amy arched her stomach into his hands as his fingers ran over it.
"Stop teasing me," she said quietly, taking his hands in hers.
Kevin smiled at her and nodded.
Crawling on top of her, his lips found hers. Moaning into the kiss, Amy's hands quickly found his hips, which were too far away from her body for her liking. Running her hands over his back, she tried to make him come closer to her. Feeling him reject her wish, she smiled into the kiss. Moving her hand down, she wrapped her hand around him and squeezed. She felt him jerk then tense in surprise, a groan escaping his lips. Teasing him with light strokes, she felt his hips brush against her arm as his body responded. His breathing became uneven as she moved her hand, and he soon pulled away from the kiss so he could breathe. Reaching down and taking her hand off of him, he placed his lips back on hers. Deepening it, he pressed his body against hers.
His tounge parted her lips, then found hers. Sucking on her tounge hard enough to make her moan, Kevin braced himself with one hand and moved the other down, parting her legs and directing them until she wrapped them around his waist.
Letting her tounge go free, he slid his hand up her thigh, side and breast before setting his hand back on the table.
"Do it," she whispered against his lips.
"Do what?" Kevin asked, kissing her neck.
Grazing his teeth across her neck, he felt her legs press into his back.
"Me. Do me. Hard. Make me forget about Thanksgiving," Amy breathed, her body ready for him.
Kevin pushed himself up on his hands and looked at her, shocked at the straightforwardness he had never seen before.
Taking her hands in his, he set them above her head, then leaned down, his lips barely touching hers as he entered her quickly.
Gasping, Amy bit her lip, her legs gripping his waist tightly. Pushing him further into her, she moaned, her fingers trying to undo Kevin's hold on them.
Denying her fingers any access, Kevin held her wrists with one hand, placing his other on the table for leverage.
Sucking on her bottom lip, he thrust back into her hard, making her whimper. Letting her lip go, it was mere seconds before Amy placed her lips back on his, kissing him hard. He moved slow, his hips jerking against hers hard, torturing them both.
"Oh God," Amy breathed, dropping her head back onto the table.
It took every ounce of willpower Kevin had not to give in. Biting his lip hard, he kept up the slow, hard, rhythm.
Groaning loudly as their hips clashed together, Amy arched into him. Her hips rocked against Kevin's slowly, her body screaming for more.
Kevin's body was slick with sweat now, his lips parted as he breathed heavily. He wasn't sure how much longer he could hold out. Placing his lips on her neck, he gave her a severe hickey, enjoying hearing her moan at the suction.
Pushing her hips against his hard, Amy whimpered.
"Kevin, please...oh God, please," she said, moaning.
"Please...what...?" Kevin asked, thrusting between words.
"Make me see stars," Amy said, groaning at the feeling of him.
Swallowing, Kevin nodded against her neck, knowing he couldn't move this slowly anymore. His free hand gripping her lower back, he trust into her harder than ever, making her yelp in delight. Again bracing himself on the table with his hand, he moved his hips quickly and harshly.
Closing her eyes at the feeling, Amy moaned lowly.
Kevin gripped her wrists tightly, his breaths ending in moans.
His lips on hers hotly, he moaned, feeling her legs help push him in hard.
The table creaking below them only made Kevin's drive stronger, and he was soon driving her hips into the table, his moans growing louder each time.
Breathing heavily with uneven moans escaping her lips, Amy arched her back and tensed up slightly.
Feeling her tense, Kevin let go, letting his body take over his mind.
"Oh God," Amy groaned, her body on the edge.
Letting her wrists go, Kevin used both his hands, his hips moving strongly.
It didn't take long, his body spent to the extreme.
"Kevinnn," Amy moaned loudly, her nails raking down his back as she tensed completely, coming to her end.
Moving a few more times, Kevin felt a ripple through his entire body.
Grunting loudly out of satisfaction in her ear, he finally came to a stop.
Dropping her legs down, Amy still held her bottom lip in her teeth.
Letting out a long breath, Kevin kissed the side of her neck.
"Oh m-my God, Kevin," Amy breathed, her hands lightly on his back.
Coming face to face with her, he kissed her gently.
"You are incredible," Kevin whispered.
"No, you are," Amy replied, kissing him again.
Smiling into the kiss, Kevin sat up, giving his shaking arms a rest.
Amy sat up as well, wincing slightly.
"I told you the table was hard," she said.
"I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself," Kevin said, touching her bruising back gently.
"You can make it up to me," Amy smiled, getting off the table and fetching their clothes.
"Oh yeah?" Kevin asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Yeah," Amy said, walking over and kissing him deeply, "Christmas is coming up."
"Fuck, I love the holidays," Kevin moaned.
